HAMPTON, NH - Seacoast United Sports Club is proud to announce that it will be teaming up with New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) and will be hosting its first ever Virtual Career Fair on Thursday 28th January from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
The purpose of the event is to bring Seacoast United’s extensive network of families, businesses and community partners together in an effort to combat the number of challenges the region is currently dealing with whether it be due to the pandemic, high unemployment or ageing population. The Career Fair will be a FREE event open to both employers and prospective employees. In addition to securing businesses through the NH Job & Resource Fair, all Seacoast United Business Network members will be invited to attend the event. The Virtual Career Fair will cater to a wide range of attendees ranging from prospective graduates to professionals and will showcase legitimate career opportunities for people across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
“New Hampshire is a great state to work and live in, now is the opportunity if you have been looking for a new career or want to jump-start your career,” said Job & Resource Fair Coordinator Kate LaPierre. “There will be companies ranging from small local businesses to large corporations so there will be something for everyone.”
“We planned on hosting a career fair last April with NHES but unfortunately, we had to cancel the event due to the pandemic.” Commented Sales and Marketing Director James Peterson. “When Kate and her team approached us about doing a virtual version, we jumped at the chance.” Peterson went on to say, “Everyone has been effected by what has taken place over the past year and we are using our platform to promote some good. I feel confident that this will lead to us hosting a number of virtual events this year.”
NH Employment Security (NHES) is a federally funded state agency that operates a free public Employment Service which benefits the job seeker, the employer, and the economy by helping people find work through work search programs, employment information and economic and labor market information; and by assisting employers with job openings, and economic and labor market information which benefits the employer in making informed decisions about their business, relative to the economy. Today NHES has 12 local offices located across the state to provide free services to job seekers and employers They are offering virtual services until further notice.
