A children's group in Florida recently received 65 donated soccer jerseys from Seacoast United through a connection made by longtime friend of the club, Cheryl Stokes.

Stokes was one of the original driving forces behind Atlantic Sports Group in Maine, formed during the mid 2000s.   She served as president of ASG's National Premier Soccer League (men) and Women's Premier Soccer League teams: Maine Sting and Maine Tide respectively.  She now lives in Florida.

"Cheryl has always had a strong focus on community service," said former business partner/Seacoast United North coach Seth Brown.  "She does a lot of volunteer work and somehow always manages to find a soccer group to support."

With Cheryl's assistance, Seacoast United was able to provide enough jerseys for each of the 4-12 yr old children affiliated with the youth organization at the First Assembly of God church in Immokalee, Florida.

In addition to the jerseys, a new set of soccer goals were donated by Kwik Goal for the new field created by local volunteers on the church grounds.
