Seacoast United Baseball and Team Trevor Help Raise Awareness for Cystic Fibrosis

October 2nd, 2014

On Thursday, October 2nd, 75 local baseball players took part in the 1st Annual Team Trevor Home Run Derby in Kittery, Maine.  Kids aged 8-16 took part in a home run contest to help raise money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.  Seacoast United Baseball Staff teamed up with Dunkin Donuts and the Salema family to put on an exciting event for the kids.  The players came from over 20 Seacoast community towns and put on a hitting show for all of the parents with countless balls leaving the park.

Coach Scott Dubben’s team narrowly defeated Coach Eric Wells squad in a fun come from behind victory.  Individual Champion for the 12 and under group was Stephen Coffey from Newmarket, edging out Jacob Duddy from Portsmouth.  Kyle Maurice just beat out fellow Seacoast United teammate and Portsmouth native Josh Sauerman, by one home run.
