The Seacoast United Field Hockey Club recently wrapped up their club tryouts and things are looking very promising for the 2019/20 season. Tryouts for all three locations (Hampton and Concord, NH and Essex, MA) were held in September and the second round of tryouts took place over Columbus Day weekend.

In total, over 500 field players and 40 goalies were in attendance over the two months which makes it the largest turnout to date. The club prides itself in offering year-round training opportunities to players with intermediate to advanced skill levels.  They also offer various leagues, skills classes, seasonal clinics, summer camps, and several regional/national tournaments. With this, the Field Hockey Club has maintained its status as the largest youth field hockey organization in New England.

In addition to all of the exciting things taking place on a regional level, the program has experienced a lot of national success in recent months. Over the past year the club attended the U14, U16 and U19 National Indoor Tournament as well as the U14 National Club Championships in Lancaster, PA. Both of these events are extremely completive and only a small number of clubs throughout the country are invited to attend. These accomplishments are just an example of the depth within out program!

“We are extremely optimistic about the year ahead, after having the largest tryout turnout in the history of our field hockey club.” commented Director of Field Hockey Sarah Michaud. “Our players, families and staff are really buying into what we are trying to do here and I think recent achievements are a testament to that.”

If you wish to join the program, there is still time as team training starts at the beginning of November.  Please email for more information.
