Phantoms Make Final Push for Playoffs

HAMPTON, NH - The Seacoast United Phantoms make a push during their final week of the PDL Northeast Division regular season this week, with games at home on Tuesday July 7th and Sunday July 12th.

Tuesday evening (Portsmouth HS, 7pm), the Phantoms host a hot Real Boston Rams squad who have posted a 4-0-1 record in their last 5 games.  With two games in hand, the Rams have 4 to play on their schedule as they currently sit in 3rd place in the division with a playoff spot still within reach.

The Phantoms are tied for first in the division (25 pts) with GPS Portland Phoenix, who were able to frustrate the home side on Friday evening in Portsmouth, topping Seacoast by the score of 1-0.

In the last home game of the regular season, the Phantoms will change venues and host Western MA Pioneers at Philips Exeter Academy in Exeter NH on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.  In their last meeting, the Phantoms came away with a 4-2 victory as Anthony Grant lead the offense with two goals and an assist.
