With an impressive 3-1 victory over reading United on Tuesday evening, the Seacoast United Phantoms advance to the Premier Development League's Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Eastern Conference Final Four will take place in Statesboro, Georgia this coming weekend, July 22-23rd. Semifinal matches take place on Saturday, with the Final set for Sunday evening at 8pm.

Tuesday's win has the Phantoms facing the Charlotte Eagles (NC) of the South Atlantic Division at 8:30pm on Saturday.  Charlotte finished the regular season with a 9-3-2 record, 2nd in their division behind Myrtle Beach Mutiny who will face the Long Island Roughriders in the other semifinal match.

This marks the 2nd Northeast Division title (2014, 2017) and third trip to the PDL Playoffs for Seacoast United.  In 2014, the Phantoms fell to WV Chaos in the conference semifinal.  The following year, the Phantoms fell to division rival GPS Portland Phoenix in the play-in game.
