Phantoms Back In Action Saturday vs. Aztec

The Seacoast United Phantoms WPSL team look to build upon their home opener win this weekend as they take on Boston Aztec Saturday afternoon. The game takes place at North Reading High School (MA) with a 3pm kickoff.

Both teams started the season with a victory as the Aztecs played a hard fought game against Seacoast United Mariners and held on for a 2-1 win. The Phantoms had a great start to their 2015 campaign as they beat Rhode Island Reds 3-1 on May 17th, a game which they easily could have had more goals.

The Phantoms have been working hard in practice over the past two weeks in the build up to this game as they look to continue their winning ways. Seacoast United have a few key players who returned this season who spent their youth soccer days within the club:  Lily Radack, Rachel Hill, Ally Day and Katie Day.

Head coach David Burgess knows the task at hand, "Aztecs are a perennial contender within our divison, we know we have a difficult match ahead of us this weekend."

These two squads are involved in a "home and home" over the next week, with the Aztec hosting on Saturday, and Seacoast United hosting on Wednesday, June 3rd at the club's Outdoor Complex in Epping, NH.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
