Unfortunately for Seacoast United the Passion scored a third goal with 15 minutes left in the second half sealing the win. Head Coach Ian Burgess says, “I was happy with the way we played. It took us some time to get into a rhythm but overall I was pleased with the way they looked for the first time being out on the field together.”

Goal Keeper Jill Schott (Windham, NH) had a solid performance in net for Seacoast United by turning away several one on one opportunities from the Passion.  Also performing well for Seacoast United was Emma Clark (York, ME), helping control the game through the middle of the field.

Up next for the squad will be the home opener on Saturday, May 22nd at 6pm vs. the Boston Breakers Reserves.   Bill Ball Stadium in Exeter, NH will serve as home field for the 2010 season.   Ticket information can be found under the WPSL section of the website here.
