EPPING, NH - On Monday night, January 23rd, Seacoast United Sports Club hosted a special event for over 30 local soccer organizations at the Holy Grail Restaurant & Pub’s “Camelot” function room. All of SUSC’s staff were on hand to share ideas that the Club is planning to do to support local town travel and recreation programs throughout 2012. With over 75 people in attendance, the night was a great success with much of the focus being placed on how Seacoast United can better assist the coaches and players in each of the various organizations. Coaching clinics, age specific curriculums and supporting town tryouts were just some of the areas covered.
Another highlight of the evening was the introduction of Jill Egan, the new Executive Director of the Seacoast United Foundation. Egan shared with the group the four initial programs designed to help promote soccer within Rockingham and Strafford Counties and these included the Bob Masi Scholarship, Nate Hardy International Scholarship, Jarkko Tuominen College Scholarship and the new Community Grant. The Foundation’s office is located in the Dudley House in downtown Exeter. Egan also mentioned the date of the Seacoast United Foundation’s annual Gala which takes place at The Wentworth By The Sea Hotel & Spa on Saturday, February 4th.
