SEACOAST UNITED SPORTS CLUB, HOULAGAN LACROSSE MERGER - FALL 2018

HAMPTON, NH - Seacoast United is proud to announce a new partnership with Houlagan Lacrosse beginning fall 2018. A new club will be formed, Seacoast United Houlagan Lacrosse with Sean Houlahan as the managing director.

Offering both boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams and developmental programs year-round, Houlagan Lacrosse is originally based out of Dover, NH and strives to offer an educational opportunity for student athletes in NH, Maine, and Massachusetts. The partnership between the two organizations will include relocating the Houlagan Lacrosse central operation to Seacoast United’s Epping (NH) Sports Complex. Houlagans programs will utilize all of Seacoast United’s current indoor and outdoor facilities located in NH and Maine.

Founder of Houlagan Lacrosse, Sean Houlahan stated, “At Houlagan Lacrosse, your player’s development and ability to get better while having fun has always been our mission. Over the past several years, we have consistently experienced good growth throughout our developmental and travel team programs. In our continued effort to bring the best programming, instruction, and coaching to your players, we have explored many avenues to offer more opportunities without sacrificing our mission. We believe that combining forces with a larger organization will allow us to provide a wider array of services for our families under one roof. Providing opportunities for us to offer our services in more locations and expand our reach to new players and families, our desire to share our vision and mission of developing skilled lacrosse players becomes an attainable goal with this type of association. Houlagan Lacrosse is excited to announce our trusted partnership with Seacoast United. As the exclusive lacrosse program operating under Seacoast United, we look to continue our tradition of excellent service, extensive expertise, and developing a fun and educational environment for our players and families. We are proud to be Houlagans and we hope that you will join us in looking towards the exciting future of Houlagan Lacrosse.”

"This is very exciting time for the organization and something we have been discussing with Sean for a long time," said Vice President of Seacoast United Sports Clubs, Inc. Ian Burgess.  "Sean and his coaching staff will bring all of the lacrosse experience and Seacoast United will provide them with facilities, growth opportunities and support behind the scenes”. Burgess also added, “Lacrosse has grown immensely over the last few years and the Houlagan brand is one of the best in our region. For Seacoast United to add Houlagans and lacrosse to our sports portfolio, will enable us to continue with our quest of being New England’s Home for Sports”.
