Boys' Coaches

U9 Boys:  Dan Revis
 A NY native, Dan attended and played at the University of New Hampshire until 2008.  He holds a BS in business administration from the Whittemore School of Business with a dual option Finance/Management degree.  While playing at UNH, Dan coached several hours per week part-time and went on to become a full-time staff member in 2010.  He is currently the Director of our Granite Fields facility in Kingston, NH and coaches the U11 Boys.  Dan holds a USSF C License (candidate).
   
U10 Premier Pool JB 9v9:  Joey Barima

Joey was a starting defender at the University of New Hampshire and helped lead the program to a school record for most shutouts in a season (11, 2007), a 5th place ranking in the NSCAA/Adidas Northeast Regional Poll (2008), and appearances in the conference quarter finals (2008) and conference semi-finals (2007).  Prior to attending UNH, he captained his junior college team at Lon Morris (TX) wihch advanced to the conference quarter finals in 2006.  That same year, Joey lead the team with 16 goals and 3 assists and was named first team All-Region.  Joey is a native of London, England and graduated from Canon Palmer High School in 2004.

Joey has been working at Seacoast United since 2009 where he was a part time member of staff and was involved with SUSC Grassroots Programs as well as the Club’s first Junior Academy programs in York & Berwick.  He became a full time member of staff in 2010 and is now the Director of Grassroots and Skills & Scrimmage Program at the Hampton Indoor Arena.  Joey holds a USSF "D" License.

2003 PreAcademy:  Peter Decker

Peter was born in Manchester, England and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Honors) in Secondary Physical Education in 2008.  During his playing career at University, Peter was a 4-year starter and also had spells at various clubs throughout the North-West of England.

U13 PreAcademy AB:  Andrew Boger
Andy Boger joined Seacoast United in the winter of 2014. He has been a high school and club coach for over a decade in New England and briefly in Maryland. Andy has held positions as the head coach at Middlesex School (Concord, MA), Phillips Academy (Andover, MA) and Dana Hall School (Wellesley, MA). At the club level he has coached teams with a number of clubs including FC Greater Boston Bolts (now Celtic). His teams have won league, state, New England, sub-regional and national showcase titles. Andy played his collegiate soccer at Wesleyan University (CT).  He was the first high school coach to receive a Master Coach Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and holds a USSF “B” License as well as an Advanced certificate from the KNVB.
   
U14 Development Academy:  James Goodwin

James Goodwin is a native of Merrimack, NH, and played for the Merrimack High School varsity soccer team as a freshman.  He went on to play for Syracuse University in the Big East as a scholarship student-athlete where he started as a freshman and played every game until an injury his senior year. After graduating in 2008 with a BS in Health & Exercise Science, he went on to pursue soccer professionally and attended trials in Norway’s First Division and USL (US second division).  In addition, he has been playing in the Premier Development League (PDL) for the Seacoast United Phantoms since 2009 and captained the 2012 squad.  The Phantoms were the 2011 Northeast Division Champions and Eastern Conference Semifinalists.  During this time he worked as a paraeducator at a local elementary school, where he has worked for the past three years.  He is currently pursuing graduate school for Physical Therapy.
 
   
U14 Premier SF:  Stephen Fraser
Stephen Fraser is an ex-professional player who played with St Johnstone FC and Montrose FC in Scotland. He has coached professionally since 2006 with players of all ages and abilities including working with the academies of St Mirren FC and Cowdenbeath FC. He joined Seacoast United in February 2015 after leaving St Mirren FC. Stephen is a Sports Studies graduate from the University of Stirling in Scotland. He has obtained the SFA Level 5 Advanced Children’s Licence and holds the SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness) Advanced Trainers International Diploma.
   
U14 Select1 SS:  Steve Szucs
  Born in Waterville, Maine. Steve went to Lawrence High School where he started and lettered all 4 years for the Varsity Soccer team.  His team won the 1991 Indoor Championship which was the first in the school’s history. He attended Johnson & Wales University where he graduated with a degree in Pastry Arts in 1993. Steve was a member of the National Ski Patrol from 1994-2000 serving at Tussey Mountain in PA. and Sugarloaf, ME. Started his passion for coaching soccer in 1999 with Oyster River’s freshman team. From there he’s coached for Nottingham Middle School from 2003-2012 and Hesser College in 2006 and has found a home here at Seacoast United since 2008. Szucs has taken many Seacoast teams to the finals, won a few championships as well as some fair play awards over the years. Currently holds a D License. Is also employed by East Coast Lumber in East Hampstead, NH where he is a Buyer in their purchasing department since 2006.

U16 Development Academy:  Iain Scott
 

Scott comes to Seacoast United with an extensive coaching background.  From 2000-2005, Iain coached with Scottish First Division club Queen of the South, 3 of those years as head coach.  After his years with QOS, he served as the Youth Academy Director for Gretna Football Club in the Scottish Premier league from 2006-07, then moved on to become the Gretna FC First Team Assistant Manager (‘07-‘08).  Most recently, Scott worked at the senior level in Player Coach Development and Pro Youth Performance with the Scottish Football Association and Scottish Premier League Academy Monitoring (2008-2010).  Scott holds numerous coaching qualifications, including the UEFA A license, UEFA level 5 youth license, a diploma in Sport Psychology, and has received the Youth Directors Award, PSM Performance Sport Movement Award, and the Scottish FA Course Tutor Award.  He is currently the Seacoast United Phantoms PDL head coach.

   
U16 Premier JP:  James Peterson

 A native Floridian, James attended college at the University of South Florida from 2005-2009 where he studied Business Marketing.  During this time he acquired his USSF "D" coaching license.  In 2010 he moved to Oxford, England where he studied Sport and Coach Science at Oxford Brookes University.  During his 3 years in Oxford, James worked and gained experience at Oxford United Football Club.  Taking on the role of Group Ticket Sales Manager, his responsibilities developed into the first ever Partnership Officer role at the Club where they established partnerships with 15 grassroot clubs.  

While working at Oxford United, James was an Assistant Manager with the Oxford University Men's team under OUFC Assistant Manager Mickey Lewis.  In his last year coaching the team, they went on to record an undefeated season and won the league.  James also completed his FA Level 2 degree.

James is now working at Seacoast United as the Director of Sales and Marketing for all of Seacoast United and has an assistant coach role with the Seacoast United Phantoms PDL team.

U16 Select CP:  Caleb Paterson 
 

Caleb earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Business from Keene State College. While attending school, he was a starting midfielder and helped lead the program to 2 Little East Conference championships (2004 & 2005). During his collegiate career he helped lead the team to 4 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances (2004 – 2008). During Caleb’s senior year he was nominated to the 2nd All-Little East Conference Team. He also earned All-New England Honors by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Caleb continued his playing career after college as a member of the Seacoast United Phantoms NPSL squad in  2011 and 2012.  Before college, Caleb was a 4 year starter at Dover High School and a long time member of Seacoast United Soccer Club. While playing for SUSC, Caleb helped lead his team to numerous State, Regional, and National Championship events.  

Caleb is currently the head coach of the Portsmouth High School Boys Soccer program, and the coach of the Seacoast United U16 Boys Select team and a full time staff member at Seacoast United.  He holds a USSF “D” National coaching license.

   
U17 Premier TF/PR:  Tim Farrell 

Tim attended Plymouth State College and played semi-professional soccer with the Boston Storm before moving into coaching full-time.  Tim is a veteran coach with Seacoast United, working with various talent within the Club since 2000.  Tim has been involved with the US Soccer Development Academy program for over 4 years.

   
U17 Premier TF/PR:  Peter Ramsay
  Peter Ramsey has coached at the college level for over 30 years.  He played varsity soccer at Keene State College and after graduation joined the University of New Hampshire soccer staff as a graduate assistant while studying for a graduate degree.  He stayed at UNHY for four seasons as an assistant coach.  He then transferred to Southern NH University for two seasons as an assistant under head coach Rob Grabell.  He spent twenty years as an assistant under Saint Anselm head coach Ed Cannon, and then eight years as head coach at Saint Anselm College Hawks.  He has just handed off the head coaching duties to his longtime assistant and former Seacoast United coach Christian Gagnon.  Peter has been a NH State ODP coach, has a "B" License and was lucky enough to just wrap up the NH State Cup title with Seacoast United's U17 Boys Premier team in 2014.
   
U17 Select JE:  Joe Eager

Joseph is a Costa Rican/ American with dual citizenship.  Adopted in ’89, he was raised in NH.  Joseph has been playing soccer his entire life and has been coaching since 2010.  He is the assistant and goalkeeper coach for Manchester Central High School and has been with Seacoast United since 2012.  He holds the USSF “D” License and has obtained a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of New Hampshire.  Joseph holds academics in high regard, believing that education is paramount for success.  Noting that a complete player must fulfill the requirements of the classroom before stepping on the pitch.

   
U18 Development Academy:  Corlton Simmond
 

A former Jamaican Junior National player and was a 2003 FIFA All-Star Selection of African descent.  He has been coaching soccer in New Hampshire for almost 20 years.  Corlton has had the opportunity to teach and mentor the game of soccer to kids at different ages, gender, and skill levels.  

Simmond coached at various levels; 6 years Men’s Soccer Coach at Daniel Webster College; 2 years State ODP coach, 15 years Club soccer coach, 10 years as Director of Coaching for Hampshire and Amherst Soccer Club, and 3 years with the US Development Academy and Pre-Academy programs at Seacoast United.  During his 15 years of club soccer, Simmond participated in 10 State Cup finals and represented the state at 7 Region I championships.  Several of Simmond’s former players have moved on to have successful careers at the collegiate, regional, professional, and national level.
