Seacoast United U17 Boys Development Academy standout Estevao Gouveia will head to Brazil this week to embark on an exciting journey to pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. EG, as he is known to his teammates, has started the 2019/20 season in fine form in registering 7 goals in the teams’ first 5 games. EG joined the Seacoast United DA Program just over two years ago. During his time at Seacoast United, EG has developed into one of the top strikers in the northeast region.
EG was born in Nashua, NH, however he has Brazilian nationality through both of his parents. EG will be training with Cruzeiro Vitoria, who play in the top professional division in Brazil. They have a full-time residency program for their academy, where EG will be housed in his time at the club.
“EG is a fantastic kid who has a tremendous work ethic. We are extremely proud of how he has developed in the program and we are excited for him to continue on his pathway to becoming a professional player in Brazil,” Seacoast United Academy Director Peter Decker commented on the exciting prospect.
The Seacoast United U17 DA Team has started the season with 5 consecutive wins and currently sit in 1st place in the DA Cup Standings, already securing their place in the Final 32 of the competition which will take place in Florida this December.
