The Seacoast United U13 & U14 Boys Development Academy teams will travel to North Carolina for the weekend of October 24-27th to take part in the US Soccer Development Academy East Regional Showcase. The event will feature all of the DA Clubs in the East Region and will see each team face 4 different opponents from outside of the Northeast Conference.

The U13 DA Team coached by Joey Barima is heading down to the Tar Heel State in fine form having enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season. The team will face 4 tough opponents down in North Carolina, with the standout fixture seeing the boys face up against New York Red Bulls in the final game of the showcase. Red Bulls have one of the best youth academies in Major League Soccer so this will be a fantastic test for the team. 

The U14 DA Team, coached by James Goodwin, will also be heading down full of confidence ahead of the showcase after putting some impressive performances in the past few weeks. With 5 new additions to the team this year, they are is much improved and playing some very attractive soccer.

“The DA Showcase Events are a fantastic opportunity for our players to perform against the top teams in the country. All games are scouted by US Soccer Talent ID Staff and provide a great level of exposure for the boys.” commented Boys’ DA Director Peter Decker.
