U17-18 Development Academy Defeat NE Revolution, Move to 4th Place

HAMPTON, NH - The Seacoast United US Soccer Development Academy teams had another tough weekend on the road against division rivals New England Revolution.

After a close match-up at Gillette Stadium, Seacoast United’s U17/18 team walked away with a 1-0 win against the Revolution. The only goal of the game was scored by Seacoast United’s top scorer, striker Abdulkadir Haji. The win against the New England Revolution pushed Seacoast United’s U17/18’s up in the standings to 4th in the Northeast Division of the East Conference. 

The U15/16 team had a challenging game vs the Revolution as well, but ended with a 2-1 loss. The goal scored for Seacoast United came from Eli Cronin. 

“Following a superb passing move, Eli curled the ball into the top corner of the net from 18 yards,” said Seacoast United U15/16 head coach Iain Scott.

The U15/16 and U17/18 teams are back on the road once again April 23rd, scheduled to play Continental FC DELCO in Pennsylvania. U17/18’s kick off the day starting at 12:00pm.
