Seacoast United is proud to announce that Frantzdy Pierrot has been selected for a very prestigious award this past week by the US Soccer Developmental Academy program in being named to the US Soccer Eastern Conference All Star U15/16 squad for the 2012 season.

“Frantzdy was a diamond in the rough regarding the beginning of his soccer with our Club and to see him develop into the player he has become is absolutely a testament to his commitment and dedication," commented Seacoast United Development Academy Director and Boys Director of Coaching John Price.  "His attitude is second to none at all practices and games and sets examples in all he does. A lot of top colleges including Duke, Lafayette and local UNH and Bowdoin are already knocking on this young man’s door. We are very proud for him and it’s a feather in the cap for our Club in its development of local talent.  We look forward to seeing another Seacoast player in this elite area.

The last player from Seacoast United to receive this award was Steven Palumbo three years ago.  Palumbo is entering his junior year at UNH.

Frantzdy currently lives in Melrose, Massachusetts and was recently included in the Seacoast United Phantoms squad who played English professional club Oxford United in July 2012.  He made such an impact that Oxford Manager Chris Wilder showed respect by having a top line ex-international player mark him during his period on the field.

“The sky is the limit with this young man,” Price went on to say.  "As a Club we can only wish him the very best of luck in his future at Seacoast United and beyond."
