HAMPTON, NH - Brady Lewis (Epping, NH) has been invited to participate in the U14 Boys National Identification Program by US Soccer. The East Regional ID Camp will take place at the Capelli Sport Complex in Tinton, NJ from April 4th-8th, 2019.
Youth National Team U14 Talent Identification Department (TID) Mini-Camps will bring together 80 of the best players from each of US Soccer TID’s three scouting regions (East, Central, and West) for a three-game round-robin competition. The 5-day camp will feature four 20-player teams, playing 3 games against each other during that timeframe.
Following the mini camps, the process continues by gathering 60 players for a National ID camp to take place this summer. This environment helps the national coaches compare players from different scouting regions in an effort to identify the top talent to funnel into the U15 Boys National Team. Lewis has played for the Seacoast United US Development Academy program since 2015 at the U11/U12 age group. He is currently a midfielder on the U14/2005 team.
“I am honored to be selected for the East Regional ID Camp and have the opportunity not only to represent myself, but also my club with the hopes of being chosen to represent my country,” said Lewis. “Thank you Seacoast United for giving me the platform to play at the highest level, and confidence to grow into a leadership role.”
“We are extremely proud of Brady in being selected for the U14 BNT East Regional ID Camp. Brady has been with the club for a long time and he fully deserves this recognition,” commented Peter Decker, Seacoast United’s Boys Academy Director and U14 DA head coach. “His attitude is first class and we are thrilled with his development. We have no doubt he will represent Seacoast well down at the camp and hope this is the first step on his pathway to achieve his dream of playing for the National Team.”
Seacoast United is the only club in northern New England affiliated with the US Soccer Development Academy boys’ and girls’ programs. Learn more about Seacoast United’s DA program here.
